Licensed Engineers for B737/A300/BAe 146 (M/F) Based at Liege Airport (ref. M&E 06-05)
Reporting directly to the Station Engineers, your position will make you responsible for the following areas: Maintenance activities • Your role is to ensure that all tasks are performed in accordance with the applicable Regulations, Engineering Procedures and approved Technical Documentation. To ensure all required maintenance tasks are performed promptly and correctly and are certified in accordance with the inspection approval system. • Amongst your assignments, you will have to ensure that maintenance tasks performed by Mechanics are inspected and certified accordingly. To ensure all documentation required for certification and technical control are fully and correctly completed. • You will have to maintain the tooling, equipment and facilities given at his disposition to the highest standard in accordance with JAA / EASA and Company Regulations. To ensure parts removed from aircraft are returned to stores immediately with all documentation fully and correctly filled ou.t • Your responsibility is to ensure own inspection authorisation remains valid and inspection stamp is in safe custody. To ensure that own On Job Training records are kept up-to-date. • And when required, you will provide support away from Base. Reporting activities • You will be responsible for promptly communicating aircraft status and report all aircraft defects to the Station Engineers. Competencies development • You will actively participate in the training of Mechanics (PART 66-A Licenses and lower) and overlook their On Job Training progress. Professional company image • You will ensure that a professional company image is portrayed at all times and that internal and external customers are treated with courtesy. Your knowledge / experience • You hold a JAR 66 B1 (or B2) aircraft engineering license or national equivalent. • Your experience on specific aircraft B737 / A300 / BAe146 will be an asset. • You are familiar with technical publications, AMM, SRM, IPC, WDM, etc… • You are fluent in English and have an excellent understanding of Technical English terms. Your competencies / behaviour skills • You are rigorous and accurate in a procedural environment. • You are organised and able to set priorities in order to meet set deadlines. • You are able to deal with operational ‘pressure’ in a deadline driven environment. • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal). • You are self-motivated with a flexible approach to work. • Work pattern: able to work in shift (night or day).
